An initiative of Cycling Australia with the support of local state and club organisers the series will feature events across various states and territories.

The NPS will see riders score points in individual time trial events based on the Multi-Class Formula, a format of racing specifically for para-cyclists which allows for athletes from different para-cycling classes to compete in the same field.

The top three scores in each event, in addition to the Time Trial National Championships in Ballarat, will count towards a rider’s standing in the series.

Overall male and female champions will be awarded an official Santini leader’s jersey and will be recognised at the 2021 Federation University Road National Championships.

Triple Paralympic Gold medalist and nine-time World Champion Carol Cooke said “The National Para-Cycling Series is a great way for para-cyclists new and old to come together and race. It was one of the first things I did as a para-cyclist which introduced me to racing and other cyclists.

It is a fantastic series of races available throughout the country.  You can participate no matter what class you against other classes under the factoring system.
I’m hoping to be around for some of them and look forward to competing against  other riders”
