Cycling Australia is pleased to announce the return of the National Junior Road Series (NJRS) in 2020 and is excited to see the best junior cyclists around the country battle it out.

The series, for riders in the under 15 and 17 categories, will be held across most states and territories between April – September.

The series aims to provide a link between the best state events throughout Australia and build an interest in junior cycling through the country, extending the standard of domestic competition and creating a stepping stone for riders.

Junior riders from around the country will compete in events around Australia, scoring points towards the NJRS. Individual category leaders for each state will be awarded an official Santini NJRS leader’s jersey.

General Manager of Sport Kipp Kaufmann is looking forward to the new season.

“Building on the success of 2019, we are thrilled to be able to provide events in Australia for every cyclist that wishes to compete. The NJRS will showcase the brilliant talent and up and coming stars of our sport.”

The NJRS commences on 18 April with the Central Districts Junior Tour.
